BEIGATTI MAINE COONS

We have, over the years, erected many Christmas trees and the cats pretty much have left the tree alone.  Not this year.  Newest kitten Dolcetta is obsessed with the tree.  We keep moving ornaments out of her reach and she keeps leaping higher and higher to get at them. *sigh*

We do have to be especially careful during the holidays.  Christmas trees can be hazardous: kittens can become entangled in tinsel and ribbon, and broken ornaments can be hazardous to delicate paws. 

We decided to let her have her way, resulting in a sad tree this year.  We have all ornaments out of reach...we think.

I wonder what the tree will look like after a week or two?  We actually find her IN the tree, amid the branches.

BTW...kitten Dolcetta may have a new name.  Our Matthew looked at her and said she looked like an "Olive"...it does suit her.  So we are trying out "Olive" as a call name.  Why does it take me so long to name cats?
